By results of the 8th ASECU Youth Summer Economic School 5 students works were selected as nominated research papers for Tsekouras Prize for young economists and the “Best Presentation” Award of UNWE (3 prizes) along with the “Most Valuable Participant” Award of UNWE (2 prizes) were given by the University of National and World Economy (UNWE) – organizers of the ASECU Youth Summer School 2019

From 15 to 20 September, 2019 the 8th ASECU Youth International Conference and Summer School took place in Ravda, Bulgaria. The topic of the events was “Sustainable Development Goals 2030: Challenges for South and Eastern European Countries and the Black Sea Region”. The University of National and World Economy (UNWE) performed as an organizer of the summer economic school and a conference, which provided ASECUers with comfortable accommodation facilities in the Rehabilitation Complex of UNWE on the Black Sea coast in the village of Ravda, Bourgas Region. The 8th ASECU Youth International Conference and Summer School hosted 50 participants from 8 countries – ALBANIA, BULGARIA, CHINA, GREECE, HUNGARY, ROMANIA, RUSSIA and TURKEY.

The Students’ Association of Economic Universities of South and Eastern Europe and the Black Sea Region
is a non-profit international association of economic higher educational institutions. It is known for holding two annual large-scale events − a summer economic school and a conference for bachelor’s, master’s and PhD students.
The ASECU Youth is a promising vector of the ASECU – an association uniting scholars in economics from 51 universities and research centers – which was founded in 2011.
