Feedback

Our university was the first to organize ASECU Youth Summer School. It was very exciting and interesting. We wanted to come up with such a format that the school honors academic traditions, but also is saturated with a lively, youthful atmosphere. I think everything turned out, thanks to the organizers, thanks to the outstanding professors, but above all thanks to the students. This is students’ school, they are the main characters who learn and teach, live and make friends. Every year the school takes place in a new country where students from a large number of other countries come. There is a contact of cultures, a terrific experience of intercultural communication. Nothing does to develop good neighborly relations between countries as much as sincere friendship between young people from these countries.

I have met with ASUCU as a master’s student about 3 years ago. I participated to Beograd summer school. It was an entertainment experiance. I have met people around Europe and we had fun. I also attended to Thessaloniki summer school. It was better and good organized one comparing to previous one. An association can be interesting in all diffent angels. First the summer school is a good opportunity for their student. It is fun but also challenging because you have to participate vie writing a paper that improves you academicly. It is also an opportunity for an organization to advertise nationally and internationally. Since the mobility is an important factor for a university summer schools provide that.

The ASECU Youth conferences and summer schools are well organized by professional staff.I have taken part 2 times and the feelings and emotions I had is impossible to transfer in words. All the professors are really good and helpful and the participants from all over the world are amazing. During the conferences I have taken part I have made many friends from different countries. The ASECU Youth conference and summer school is a great combination of lessons and fun. Thanks a lot to ASECU!!!

I first learned in practice what the ASECU Youth is in 2016, when RSUE was a host university. The main advantage of the association is the format of events it offers. Summer school takes place in the summer time and entails not only papers publication, but lectures of foreign professors, workshops, business games that are transferred into ECTS. Moreover, there is a chance to win Tsekouras Prize or become one of selected students who can join the ASECU International conference. Membership in the ASECU Youth opens opportunities at several levels of cooperation. HEIs can establish cooperation between economic universities, departments, scientific units, finding. Students can find peers for joining economic projects together, co-author papers and simply make friends. Professors can learn about practices foreign colleagues implement at their departments. The best feeling I can claim in public that I perceive belonging to a big international family called “ASECU Youth Association” and my name is ASECUer Mila, what I can be proud of.

The ASECU Youth started for me in 2016 when, after a summer school in Bucharest, I decided to organize something similar in Greece. As far as I learned about it, I tried to organize a summer school conference like this that had not happened before with a group of students in collaboration with the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and the University of Macedonia. It was a great experience, I met students from other countries, issues were discussed with marketing, management, refugees, etc., friendships and beautiful moments were created. I urge each student and each university to join the ASECU Youth and come to a summer school and not be rejoiced!
